Councillor Karen Principe

For those I have yet to meet, my name is Karen Principe and I am proud to represent you as your ward Councillor. As a sole voice and vote on Council, I listen to you so that my representation can best reflect the beliefs and values of the ward residents as a whole. Over the past three years I have had the pleasure to meet many of you at community league events throughout the ward. It's a great privilege to be out and about in the community, I enjoy having you share your thoughts and concerns about making tastawiyiniwak a better place to live, work and play. Feel free to keep inviting me to your events.

We respectfully acknowledge that the work we do as the Ward [ᑕᐢᑕᐃᐧᔨᓂᐊᐧᐠ] tastawiyiniwak (TASS-TAW-WIN-EE-WOK) office is on traditional Treaty 6 Territory amiskwacwâskahikan and a traditional meeting ground and home for many Indigenous Peoples, including Cree, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Nakota Sioux Peoples.
